RMI Laser, LLC was established in 1998 to provide cost effective and innovative laser solutions to the industrial, commercial and government markets. Formed initially as the laser R&D group of Rocky Mountain Instrument CO., RMI Laser, LLC has since been spun-off as a stand-alone entity that specializes in the design and manufacture of DPSS laser systems and precision laser marking systems.

2010 - Present
• 2011 - UF-50 Laser Marking System is officially released to market
• 2010 - UF-30 Laser Marking System is officially released to market
• 2010 - RMI Laser India is formed (Laser sales and service)
• 2010 - RMI Laser U.K. is formed (Laser sales and service)
• 2010 - RMI Laser Germany is formed (Laser sales and service).
2000~2009
• 2009 - UF-20 Laser Marking System is officially released to market
• 2008 - The UM-1 is officially released to market
• 2007 - RMI Laser Europe/Poland is formed (Laser sales and service).
• 2007 - The U-Series if officially released to the market
• 2004 - The Archer-Series is officially released to market
• 2004 - RMI-Japan is formed (Laser sales and service).
• 2003 - RMI-Korea is formed (Laser sales/service and R&D).
1957~1999
• 1999 - The LE-100 Series Laser Marking System is developed (First commercialized Nd:YVO4 Marking System)
• 1998 - RMI Laser, LLC is formed under name "Laser Marking Technologies"
• 1983 - RMI is acquired by Dr. Yubong Hahn (Precision optics & coatings).
• 1957 - Rocky Mountain Instrument (RMI) is founded
